Talon currently is the President of Taurus Industries Inc. Talon inherited the company form his father Bruce Towhey in July of 2011, Bruce founded the Company along with his wife, Gay Lynn Towhey in 1981. Talon oversees the Operations of both Taurus Electric and BET Electronics, which are Subsidiaries of Taurus Industries, Inc. Talon is a Master Electrician in Washington, a NICET 2 Level Fire Alarm Technician and a BICSI 1 Level Data Technician with multiple Certifications in Fiber Installation Procedures. Taurus Electric participates in a number of Construction Markets including Residential, Commercial, Health Care, Institutional, Military as well as Highway and Signal Work. BET Electronics participates in numerous Systems including Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, CCTV as well as Telephone and Data installations. BET personnel are certified on a multitude of Systems via Manufacturer training.
Heath started his electrical career in 2001 and has been with Taurus since 2005. He enrolled in the Independent Electrical Contractors of Washington electrical apprentice program in 2007 where h excelled and graduated First in his class. Heath has worked on many projects for Taurus working his way up through the ranks, first at an apprentice then Project Forman, Project Manager and became the Vice President of Operation in 2019. As a Project Manager, Heath received continuing education including; Project Management, Millennium Access Control, Lighting Controls, HAZWOPER, Hazard Safety Control Certification. Heath has vast knowledge in the installation of Gear, Lighting, Lighting Controls, Signal Work, Motors & Controls, Low Voltage Network Cabling, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Residential, Commercial and Industrial electrical installation.
Dan joined Taurus Industries, Inc in 2005. He has worked his way through the company from Journeyman to Lead Journeyman to Forman. His experience and dedication led him to his promotions to Project Manager in 2016. As Project Manager, Dan has received continuing education including; Project Management, Lighting Controls, Hazard Safety and Control Systems. Dan specializes in Commercial, Industrial with knowledge of Signal and Street Lighting electrical installation.
Nick joined Taurus Industries, Inc in 2011 as a Low Voltage Apprentice. He has worked his way through the company from Apprentice to Journeyman. His experience and attention to detail led him to his promotion as Project Manager in 2019. As Project Manager, Nick is receiving continuing education including; Project Management, Fire Alarm Design, Access Control Systems Nick specializes in the installation of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Remote Security and Camera systems.
Chris joined Taurus Industries, Inc in 2017. His many years’ experience in the electrical field qualified him to start as a Project Foreman. As a Project Forman, Chris has received continuing education including; Project Management and various software programs. Chris is trusted to run the job sites daily workings independently with little to no supervision from the Project Managers. Duty’s: Plan review, employee training, crew directions, safety supervision and communicate materials needed, project changes, questions and hazards with the project managers.
Matt joined Taurus Industries, Inc in 2011 with prior experience in the electrical field. He has worked his way through the company from Journeyman to Lead Journeyman. His experience, dedication and ability to work well with others led him to his promotion as Project Foreman in 2016. As a Project Forman, Matt has received continuing education including; Project Management and various software programs. Matt is trusted to run the job sites daily workings independently with little to no supervision from the Project Managers.
